THORNWICK VALE

Welcome to Thornwick Vale—a magical sanctuary where the banished and broken come to belong, happily-ever-afters arrive in the most unexpected forms, and found family is the strongest magic of all. Here, fallen angels land in fountains, flowers join dinner conversations, dragon familiars demand second breakfasts, and love has a mischievous habit of finding everyone who needs it most.

Meet the Weaver

D.L. Moore has always believed that books should feel a little like being invited into someone’s home: there should be laughter in the kitchen, something warm to drink, at least one lovable troublemaker underfoot, and a comfortable place waiting for you when the real world becomes too noisy.

Thornwick Vale grew from that belief. It is the sort of town D.L. would happily move to tomorrow, provided someone could guarantee her a cozy cottage, a well-stocked bookshop, and a dragon familiar with only moderately expensive dietary requirements.

Until then, she plans to keep writing stories filled with magic, mystery, swoony romance, found family, and characters who make an alarming number of questionable decisions for people who are supposed to be saving the day.

She loves hearing from readers—especially those who enjoy warmhearted stories, happily-ever-afters, fictional mischief, and the possibility that magic might be hiding just around the corner.

Christmas lasts an entire month in Thornwick Vale—which is twenty-nine days too long for the hilariously grumpy demon who unexpectedly finds herself stranded there. Her only hope of escaping is Oswin, an earnest, hopelessly nerdy angel determined to investigate why the town’s holiday magic is going dangerously awry. Between relentless caroling, enchanted mistletoe, and far too much festive cheer, she may survive Christmas—but falling for Oswin could be the one disaster she never saw coming.

Forced together by opposing magic and an inconvenient attraction, they’ll discover some hearts burn hotter than dragonfire.

Velvet, Vixens and Vampires

When a cursed length of velvet magically binds sarcastic fox shifter Simone to Drum—Thornwick Vale’s grumpiest and most dramatic vampire—neither intends to enjoy it. To break the bond before the Harvest Moon Masquerade, they must follow a trail of stolen magical heirlooms, survive far too much forced proximity, and ignore an attraction neither trusts. But some curses don’t trap two hearts together—they reveal where those hearts have always belonged.
